Admissions

Prospective parents are welcome to visit the school. Please ring for an appointment, so that we can make sure someone is free to show you around.
More information on the types of places, charges and eligibility criteria can be found in our full Admissions Policy or by contacting the main office in Lansdowne Road.

To register with the children’s centre please complete a registration form. To put your child’s name on our waiting list for a place at nursery please complete an application form as well. These forms can be collected from the main office on Lansdowne Road. All forms should be returned in person to the main office.

What do we offer?

Under Threes Nursery: Hartington Park Site 

For children from the age of two years old. We offer:

  • FREE nursery education for two year old places to eligible families. Places are filled as they become available with priority to children from the Pembury House reach area. 
  • Fee-paying places allocated according to our Ofsted registration with regard to the ages of the children on site and the adult/child ratios required by regulations. 


Nursery Class for Children Aged 3-5 Years: Main Site (Lansdowne Road) 

If available, children are offered Nursery education places the term after their 3rd birthday. We offer:
  • FREE 15 hours education for all 3-5 year olds. These are part-time community places to children living in Haringey. Places are allocated according to the following criteria: 

Places allocated by Early Support Panel for children with additional needs. 

Children from Pembury’s Under Threes.

Proximity to the school.


  • Full-time community places to families in greatest need. The criteria for the allocation of these places are set by the local education authority. These are: 

children with special educational needs

children with a social or medical need

children who are housed in temporary accommodation

children who are cared for by a lone parent

children who are refugees or asylum-seekers

children who are from a family receiving Income Support

children who have English as an additional language

children who are from a family with a number of pre-school-age children

  • Fee-paying places: priority is given to children who are currently in fee-paying places at Pembury’s Under Threes. 
  • We also have fee paying extended services for 3 to 4 year olds. These places are subject to a waiting list.

 Breakfast Club (includes breakfast) - Rate per session  £3.70   Term-time only (8:00 - 8:40). Places are confirmed on a term by term basis  depending upon spaces available
 After School Club (includes light tea-time snack) - Rate per  session   £11.50   Term-time only (3:50 - 6.00). Places are confirmed on a term by term basis  depending upon spaces available
 Holiday Play Scheme   £22.50   A limited number of places may be available for children who are at the  nursery part-time. The sessions are from 9:30 to 3:30 only and children  attending will need to bring a packed lunch.
 1-Hour Childcare (including lunch)   £6.30   Children aged three to four-full-time community or part-time staying for  lunch.
